We had all the windows in our 1970 Fl Ranch house replaced with Pgt Windows.  We went with an installer that was referred from PGT. Better than excellent service very professional and a fair price considering it was in the middle of the pandemic.  We have pets they worked with us to insure everyone was happy and there were no mishaps.  Now after living with the windows for almost three years and a Hurricane later, I feel I can write a review.  The windows have held up and preformed beautifully.   I have one and only one complaint.  If you are someone who enjoys fresh air and opens your windows frequently I would avoid their single hung windows at all cost! They are extremely difficult to open.   I am a sixty your old man that works out regularly in the gym and it is all I can do to lift the window open.  Not sure how this is going to work out as my wife and I age.  it seems they need to improve their counter balance system.  I have spoken with them and they tell me it is the nature of impact windows.
